Although some of these nuts are available in more mainstream stores they’re often overpriced and come in small containers. The difference between buying a granel and buying from say Mercadona or Carrefour is that there’s much more variety, the prices are more wholesale and accessible, and many stores offer eco-friendly and sustainable options. Tip: They have a variety of quinoa here as well as an eco-friendly version! The prices are very reasonable, and the customer service is great!

Tip: They have 73% cacao which is great for those who prefer bitter chocolate versus milk or white chocolate. Also, at Pepita y Grano you can find a wide variety of dehydrated algae and mushrooms.
