The Noche de Muertos Mexicana (Day of the Dead) is one of the most important festivals in Mexico. This holiday focuses on gatherings of family and friends to pray for and remember friends and family members who have died, and help support their spiritual journey. Traditions connected with this holiday includes building private altars called ofrendas, honoring the deceased using calaveras, aztec marigolds, and the favorite foods and beverages of the departed, and visiting graves with these as gifts. To celebrate this important festival, Campo de la Cebada will once again breathe Mexican air with a great party honoring the dead with their rites and ceremonies to which we are all invited.
Noche de Muertos Mexicana will be an event full of color, flavor and good music. They have organized for us various contests & in a few days they will reveal more surprises about this event.
