This photographic exhibition is a co-production between Magnum Photos and Forte di Bard. It allows us to discover the importance of contact sheets, the first impression of negatives, which provides valuable information for both photographers and graphic editors. Through these documents photographic work is exposed and it lets you evaluate the process of creating the images and to choose from them the best ones. The exhibition presents a hundred images together with their contact sheets and documents that help to contextualize them, belonging to 65 great names in the world of photography, such as Robert Capa, Henri Cartier-Bresson, David ‘Chim’ Seymour, Werner Bischof, Marc Riboud, Eve Arnold, René Burri, Jim Goldberg, Susan Meiselas, Hiroji Kubota, Steve McCurry, Jean Gaumy, Cristina García Rodero and Paolo Pellegrin.
