If you’re looking for something that shakes and excites you, Daniel Canogar and his art works created from flexible LEDs are jsut waht you’re looking for. Using discarded electronic materials: computers, telephones, electric cables, thousands of burnt–out bulbs, and meters of videotape, the Madrid based artist creates hauntingly beautiful forms that cry of a consumer society that is so ready to buy and cast away.
In Echo, Canogar uses his medium to create sculptural figures that react in real time to the things that happen around them. A surreal balance between the organic and the synthetic.
Daniel Canogar will be showing at the Max Estrella Gallery (C/ Santo Tomé <M> Chueca L5) until the 25th of March. Entrance is free.
