70 works created by outstanding artists between 1912 and 1933 are showcased in Cubism(s) and Experiences of Modernity in Reina Sofia Museum. Among them are Juan Gris, María Blanchard, Louis Marcoussis, Barradas, Manuel Ángeles Ortiz, Vicente Huidobro and many more.
Cubism is pronounced in the singular, but its creative space was plural. The meeting of the Cubist Collection of Telefónica with the cubist collections of the Museo Reina Sofía is a proposal in favor of the plural conception of the cubist experience. The work of Juan Gris is its central axis. The exhibition generates a new reading on cubism, expanding the existing conception of cubism.
