Every first Saturday of each month there are theatrical tours in ‘Casa de América’, a XIX century palace known as Palacio de Linares, former residence of the Linares Marquese. Nowadays is a public consortium, the purpose of which is to strengthen bonds between Spain and the American continent.
The night tour is like time traveling back to 1900 because the palace is perfectly preserved and the guides will be the housekeeper, the butler or the Linares Marquis, who will show the secrets and mysteries hidden in all the rooms. Not only that but also there are games, XIX century dances and more surprises.
Maybe the famous ghost of the palace, Raimunda, will appear. Who knows?
There are four visits: at 5.30 pm, 7.00 pm, 8.00 pm and 10.00 pm. Tickets for 25€ (and 16€ in Lets Bonus). You can buy yours at Casa de América ticket window and the Information Point at Plaza de Cibeles (Monday-Friday: 10.00 am to 3.00 pm and 4.00 pm to 8.00pm).
