Until the 26th of March and for only 3€ a film, the cultural centre offers a sombre awakening to the horrors of war. By visiting conflict zones through the eyes of civilian victims, these four real, blunt and unforgiving in their detail of the terrible consequences of war. Anti War Cinema offers visitors the chance to begin to understand first hand all that is lost in the name of armed conflict.

  •  4th to 5th of March: The Look of Silence- Joshua Oppenheimer. On the Indonesian Genocide in 1965.
  • 18th to 19th of March: Ta’ang- Wang Bing. On the lives of Burmese refugees in China.
  • 21st to 22nd of March: Kouldelka Shooting Holy Land- Gilad Baram. The director accompanies Koudelka in his journey across Israel and Palestine.
  • 25th to 26th of March: 300 Miles- Orwa Al Mokdad. A road movie that demonstrates the impossibility of travel in Syria.
