Coming soon to there ever lovingly nostalgic halls of the Mondo Galería is a tribute to Pop Art’s own poster boy, Andy Warhol. ‘Andy Dandy’ comes as a collaboration between Christopher Makos (friend and of Warhol) and enigmatic New York artist, Paul Solberg. Their tribute to the iconic painter, a series of photographs that demonstrate two very different interpretations of the concept of ‘beauty’. On one side Warhols unique, and ever so slightly very slightly decadent style. While on the other is the vivid freshness of Solberg’s flowers. A contrast that celebrates the Andy Warhol as one of the founding fathers of Pop Art. ‘Andy Dandy’ will be open to the public at the Mondo Galería (San Lucas, 9 <M> Chueca, L5) Tuesdays through Saturdays (11:00-14:00) and (17:00 to (20:30) until the 16th of March. Entrance is free.
